Abstract
In this article, we intend to discuss the views of patriarchal ideology within the history of violence against women until the Covid-19 pandemic. For this, we seek, albeit in a succinct way, historical highlights that we will use as a basis in our analyzes to support the interpretation of the female body as an object to the culture of patriarchy and its results represented in violence of the opposite sex until today in the midst of pandemic. For this, we will use semiotic analysis and assistance from authors such as Charles S. Peirce, Lucia Santaella, Johan Jakob Bachofen, Eugene Monick, among others.
